Confused about Coronavirus?

Let’s talk about what everyone is talking about

The new Coronavirus. Is this the Big One?

Honestly, it’s hard to say but it’s moving fast and it doesn’t look good. What started in the city of Wuhan in early December has now grown into a global health emergency. And as the contagion spread beyond China so did the fear. I’m really afraid that the virus might infect me or my family members. We all have questions.

How contagious is this new virus?
What are the symptoms? And how do we stay safe?

So this is what we’re dealing with: a virus they started calling 2019-now. The N’s for the novel, meaning new and CoV stands for Coronavirus. And this is what it looks like. It’s like viruses we’ve seen before and come from the same family as SARS and MERS. But we’ll explain the science in a bit. First, let’s get a sense of how we got here. It started with a viral blip: a few cases of pneumonia in Wuhan. Then doctors noticed that many of the people who were sick had a connection to a market that sold fish and wildlife. From there the virus spread until tens of millions of people in China in China were put under quarantine.

Wuhan was locked down first. ”Flight has been canceled.” Airlines pulled flights and trains stopped running. Schools and businesses were closed and people were told to stay indoors. And although some residents were making light of the lockdown many are struggling to hang in there. They just don’t know how long this is all going to last. The virus has now been found in all of China’s 31 provinces. It’s put the country on high alert. In a rare move, the government has closed the Forbidden City here in Beijing over health concerns related to the coronavirus. People are avoiding any kind of place where there are crowds. So, therefore, sports arenas, hotels, bars, restaurants movie theatres are not going to be doing very well for quite some time. Stock markets took a dive and there’s talk about the global economy being dragged down.

So what do we know about Coronaviruses?

what the mortality rate is. We also know that early cases were linked to that market in Wuhan where we know live animals were in close contact with people which is not unusual in Chinese markets. It would’ve given that mutated virus ample opportunity to find a human host. This virus, this novel Coronavirus that we're seeing out of Wuhan, is 96% similar to a virus carried by bats that we have studied in China.

So this also is a bat virus and the big question is how did it get into this market? One of the problems with this virus is that it's hard to tell if you have it. It might just feel like you have a cold. We know it can give you cough and fever even shortness of breath. But one in five people get severely ill and have developed pneumonia, kidney failure. Some have died. So you don’t want to wait too long before you see a doctor. Ultimately how badly it affects you seems to depend on how strong your body’s immune system is. Of the people who have so far died most of them were elderly and most of them had an underlying illness. So for the moment, you know, the doctors the experts are telling us we do not need to be too alarmed because at the moment we're not sure just how deadly this virus is. One thing we know is that the virus incubates between two and 14 days before a person shows signs of being sick. But it’s been a struggle to understand how contagious it is.

China’s National Health Commission said that a person without symptoms is still infectious. Which is pretty scary. But the WHO backed away from that and said the most common way of getting the virus is from people who are already visibly sick. So how does it travel? Scientists are working off clues based on how SARS and MERS behave. With those two the virus travels from person to person through droplets that can enter someone’s body through their nose, mouth or even eyes. And that generally requires close contact.

The best-case scenario is that it has a strong seasonal impact and that as the climate warms up in China it sort of dwindles by itself. But I’m afraid that’s not very realistic. Something else we know is the virus’s genetic sequence which China made public in the early days of the outbreak. This DNA map has helped scientists come up with a test to diagnose the virus. It might also lead to a vaccine. A vaccine is, of course, the long-term solution because developing one takes time and costs millions of dollars. So right now it’s all about the emergency response. We’re talking about creating thousands of people many of them suffering alone in hospital beds away from their families and probably feeling pretty scared.

The health workers taking care of them are too. And they’re overwhelmed. Across China, medical supplies including diagnostic kits have been running out. So it has bed space. have been running out. So it has bed space. In response, the Chinese government built two field hospitals in Wuhan from scratch in a matter of weeks. And one factory in Thailand put in overtime to make more surgical masks even though not all medical experts are convinced they’re much protection in public. There’s a lot of fear and misinformation out there right now so while the scientists are working out how to contain the outbreak here’s the general advice from the experts. Stay away from people who are sick. If you ill see a doctor sooner rather than later. Cough into your elbow or a tissue, not your hands to avoid spreading germs. And wash your hands. A lot. You know the basics.

Happy Propose day

7 Unique & Best ways - How to propose a girl?

Dating & Love Tips for a better relationship.

So you and your girlfriend have been dating for quite some time now and you’re ready to take the next step in your relationship and you get a yes. You by the ring and all of a sudden you’re completely blank. You’ve decided to a purpose which is awesome but how and where are you going to purpose to her? You can’t think of anything. Your mind has frozen and you’ve gone blank. You think of oh how about a ring in the wine glass? A ring in the cake or purpose in a romantic restaurant? But you know that all of these have already been done way too many times. So how can you make your girl feel special by proposing her in a unique way? Can’t think of any? Well, that’s what I’m here for today. In this session today, I will tell you 10 unique ways to purpose to your girl

Gift a photo album with your relationship Timeline

An amazing way to purpose would be, to randomly gift her a photo album with all your favorite memories and photos compiled together. Well, it should have all the important milestones in your relationship. By milestones I mean the place where you first met her or the time when you asked her out or the place where you had your special date or even the pictures of your first trip and at the end of the album write a special note about how much she means to you and then, here’s the catch keep the ring on the last page and she will definitely say here you

Public proposal exciting

Private proposals are lovely but a public proposal can be extremely thrilling and so romantic if you plan it properly. To do this, go to the movie theatre which you visit the most with your girl and tell them about your plan. Tell them to play her favorite romantic movie’s favorite scene and when the guy finally gets the girl in the scene go down on your knee and ask her if she would want to spend the rest of her life with you and the people around you will be cheering and so will you be when you finally get her yes.

Try an element of surprise

Proposing with a girt is quite common but hiding the ring inside the gift is one of the unexpected ways to propose. What you could do is you could gift her a book and hide the ring inside the bookmark or you could gift her flowers with the ring hidden inside a note. You could also gift her a dress and hide the ring inside the collar. In any case, adding a gift to the proposal will definitely increase her happiness. I’m girls love gifts but make sure she finds out where you have hidden it otherwise it will be a blooper. To hide the ring in the gift.

A cute little soul would make it easy

Why not add some cuteness to your proposal? The best way for this would be to get a cute little puppy or kitten for the proposal and put the ring in the collar of the pet. So you start your evening by cooking her, her favorite, meal setting the table and setting the mood right for the evening which is very important. Don’t propose to her on a day she’s very angry. Propose to her on a day when she’s happy and if not then set the mood right and take your friend’s help in getting the pet ready until you decide to propose. Otherwise, if there’s too much noise she’ll find out. Then bring out the puppy or kitten and while your to-be fiancée is adoring the little pet and running her fingers through its fur. She will find the ring and be surprised and extremely happy. So you can hide the ring inside your furry friend.

Rewind the past

Well, love is beyond time so you could also go back in the past. Well, no I know that there are no time machines invented yet but what I mean here is you can go back to the places where the most important milestones in your relationship happened. So plan a day sole this, go to the place you went on your first date. All right and then to the place where you kissed her first and after that you could go to the place where you went for your first movie and all of these places can be a part of your proposal day and finally take her to all those places and remind her of all the important milestones and the, in the end, take her to an extremely romantic location and add that to your list of milestones by finally proposing to her there and adding these memories to the moment will definitely add more romance. So go back in the post and remind her of the good memories.

Make the mob flash for you

Do you know what a flash mob is? That’s a performance where people who appear to be complete strangers, come together for a dance performance in a public place but what does it have to do with our list? Well, these days flash mob is a unique movie type way to propose to someone and yeah I know you must be thinking how do I organize it how can I get all these people, all these strangers. Well could organize a flash mob with complete strangers over the internet and choose a public venue for the proposal and in the end, let the selected people in the flash mob hold up letter boards spelling out, will you marry me and it will catch her completely off-guard and she will be surprised beyond words and me hope that you really get a yes from her and if you’re too worried then flash mob proposals are in trend right now and there are many organizations that can help you for arranging a romantic flash mob proposal. So try this one I think it could work.

Make it a big affair

If you want to make the proposal a bigger affair, then you can involve all your friends in giving your girl a very big surprise. They can help you out with the decoration and the theme and the cake while your job is only to keep her distracted till the main proposal. You can finally propose to her with all your loved ones beside you and an added advantage to this is that you can have pictures of her exact reaction when you propose to her. Of course, you can tell your friends to capture the moment for you and of course organizing a surprise proposal party with all your friends and loved ones will also give them an opportunity to share in your happiness. So I think it’s a great idea to involve your friends and family members for a proposal and that will be surely memorable for you and for her. Proposals are one of the biggest parts of a woman’s life she dreams of getting proposed to in a very romantic manner. Almost every girl wants to have a very romantic proposal by her guy. So if you don’t want to let her down, use one of these unique ideas to propose to her in a way that she never forgets. No matter what manner you choose, no matter where you choose to purpose to her, you should make sure that it’s extremely romantic and it will be something that she will remember for the rest of her life and not only her, even you would remember it for the rest of your life. So your proposal should basically mark the amazing and romantic start of your married life with your soul mate. So my wishes and all the best for your proposal.

2005 to 2018 Youtube development over the years

Youtube development over the years from 2005 to 2018

Whenever you wanted to watch a video it had to be on VCR and then later came the DVD player and then we moved over to cable networks and now there's YouTube but only just 25 years ago streaming videos over the Internet was pretty much

the stuff of science fiction  the YouTube phenomenon in of itself has only been around for 10 years and already has definitely changed the world the sheer size and influence of YouTube is truly mind-boggling in this post we'll take a look at exactly how this platform rose to prominence and just how big it is so first of all the size the 7 billion hours of video watched every month also it will take you four straight days of watching just to view the amount of video uploaded every 60 seconds but surprisingly 80 percent of all YouTube views are outside of the United States of America in terms of size on the web

YouTube is the third most visited site on the Internet and the second largest search engine on the internet so this gives you a very quick glimpse into how big YouTube actually is right now but where did all this come from and how did this happen well let me tell you a little story in one way it all starts with Elon Musk yes that guy that is planning to send people to Mars and already has his own space company and the same guy who created the all-electric car company Tesla as impressive as this was prior to all of this Elon Musk also co-founded a website called PayPal and as it turns out three employees of PayPal would go on to change the world their names are Chad Hurley Steve Chen and jawed Karim after their days at PayPal they were interested in creating a video dating website

called TuneIn hookup it was a site where people could upload videos of themselves in order to find dates and as you could guess it didn't really work all too low as most people weren't really interested in the idea but as it so often happens with these things serendipity would strike one-day Jared happened to notice how hard it was to find a video of Janet Jackson's wardrobe malfunction anywhere on the Internet this sparked an idea and the lack of James wardrobe malfunction was realized as a market need and the solution to this need would change the world they just needed the right formula and the perfect formula was found within the existing video sharing site

TuneIn hookup whose name was later changed to YouTube the website was founded on February 14th, 2005 in a humble room above a pizza shop in California the first video was titled Me at the zoo and it was by Jared Karim uploaded on April 23rd, 2005 wasn't long before YouTube had his first 1 million hit video this happened in September 2005 and it was actually a Nike app this ad featured the Brazilian player Ronaldinho and it made Nike one of the first companies to embrace

knowledge house

YouTube's promotional potential by November 2005 the site had already received 3.5 million dollars in finisher capital in June of 2006 NBC and YouTube struck a deal this helped the traditional media company into the digital age after this it wasn't long before the site caught the attention of Google and in October 2006 the site was acquired for a cool 1.65 billion dollars with the co-founders of the site and we just wanted to say thank you today we have some exciting news for you we've been acquired by Google thanks to every one of you guys that have been contributing to YouTube the community we would be wouldn't be anywhere close to where we are without the help of this community thank at the time Google called it the next step in the evolution of the Internet it was a pretty bold thing to say at the time because the company only had 65 employees things just kept going from strength to strength for YouTube and that year

YouTube was one of the fastest-growing sites on the entire Internet there's obviously something special here this was really just the beginning the site was about to become so personal for many individuals around the world in May 2007 the YouTube Partner Program came into the picture this personally changed the lives of many people for the first time YouTube made it possible for everyday people to turn their hobbies into a business about a year later the most successful users were earning six-figure incomes from YouTube in the same year 7 out of the 16 presidential candidates announced their campaigns via YouTube and in July YouTube and CNN hosted their first presidential debate featuring citizens submitted video questions this was also the first time into bait history where user-generated video drove the debate for some reason this some

what reminds me of the first televised presidential debate between Nixon and Kennedy in 1960 at the time many said that if it wasn't for the televised session Kennedy would have never been elected so the question is did YouTube actually play a part in history this time continuing with the story in August of 2007 Google finally decided it was time to start making money and rolled out the first advertisements after this it wasn't long before YouTube truly became mainstream in 2009 Congress and the Vatican launched their YouTube channels and by 2011 features such as YouTube's live streaming allowed real-time footage of anything from rural wedding to the Olympics to live concerts on news coverage in the same year it became clear that YouTube could do even bigger things it could influence world history during

the 2011 Arab Spring YouTube played an instrumental role in disseminating messages of freedom and democracy it demonstrated the major cultural movements could now be influenced by social media on a different note and in the same year the channel majestic casual was founded some say that this channel influenced internet music culture with an acute taste for various types of cutting-edge future music of various genres it brought the music into the limelight which is now heard everywhere from 2012 onwards you've never really looked back over the years every few months new features have been added to the dismay or joy of many but regardless saw the exponential growth of the website it really has become its own living breathing culture which is amazing for the short amount of time that has really been around in full force so that's all well and good but what other interesting things are there about YouTube just how big is it now well it's bigger than TV according to Google executive chairman Eric Schmidt he already serves the YouTube is replacing TV watching as a whole he goes on to say that the future of YouTube is now this was in reference to YouTube having passed 1 billion unique visitors every month but he says it's not finished yet he goes on to say wait until he gets a 6 billion or 7 billion unique users a month but that was two years ago and now everyone is starting to realize just how big YouTube is even the TV advertisers advertisers are now starting to turn from TV to YouTube and one of those ways is through Google's preferred program where exclusive advertisers which many of them are from TV can choose to advertise on premium

YouTube channels not only this but some very real celebrities have actually made their start from YouTube apologetically one that comes to mind is Justin Bieber but apart from that we have shows like broad city and workaholics which were to mirroring concept shows that got their start from YouTube skits and now they have full seasons on primetime TV and are both enjoying a lot of success but that's not all some quite interesting phenomena is happening just by the sheer amount of video that's on there when you just have so many people uploading videos some strange things are bound to happen a large number of people who have started to upload their old VHS tapes digitally and because there are just so many people doing this we can already construct entire decades of TV so much so that if you were a couch potato 20 years ago that never went outside and just sat down and TV all day the simulation that we get from all these YouTube videos can already be pretty accurate maybe wondering what I'm talking about here and how do I know this well this is my case in point right here there exists a very clever website that was made to mimic the TV reality of the 1970s 1980s and 1990s the sites are called my 70s TV my 80s TV and my 90's TV respectively and on here

you can watch comedy commercials drama game shows movies music news specials sports talk shows movie trailers and just everything from a particular year there are more videos being added all the time but already it works as an actual TV of the decade I may be alone on this one but I personally think this is one of the most amazing things I've ever seen on the Internet it's really like unfiltered history so just finishing off there's so much I can say about YouTube but it's clear that the community is very vibrant as there's new forms of infotainment which channel such as Vsauce or veritasium or even channels for straight learning such as sixty symbols or crash course there's everything from hilarious prank videos with channels such as big doors TV or Andrew Hales amazing special effects with corridor digital or Freddy view or just straight-up comedy with Smosh owners pranks and nigahiga community channel or even the stranger comedy of how to basic who by the way actually lives around the corner from me in Perth I've actually did used that by some of the surroundings in his videos and I found that absolutely hilarious coming to a close YouTube definitely has changed the world
